lives, many users post like their mothers never taught them online manners.\u00a0 To address this, some fundamental mail rules (Netiquette) help create a positive and respectful online environment.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The first rule is to avoid<strong>\u00a0using ALL CAPS<\/strong>, as it conveys shouting.<\/p>\r\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"justify\">Another email gaff is a subject line like&#8217; IMPOR\u2014T\u2014PLEASE, READ,&#8217; which often leads to less critical content.\u00a0 These subject lines are like a bait-and-switch itch<strong> for unimportant messages<\/strong>.\u00a0 In contrast, if it were essential, the subject line would read something like &#8220;<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Evacuate-Kitchen Fire<\/strong><\/span>.&#8221;<\/div>\r\n<h3 align=\"justify\">Subject lines<\/h3>\r\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"justify\"><strong>Subject lines<\/strong> should summarize emails, aiding busy readers in prioritizing.\u00a0 Remember when you were in fifth grade, and you learned how to pull the &#8220;<strong>main idea<\/strong>&#8221; out of a story?\u00a0 If you wondered why, you learned that now you know: It was because your teacher knew that email would be invented and was teaching you how to complete the subject line.<\/div>\r\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"justify\">\u00a0<\/div>\r\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"justify\">Another no-no is the <strong>hanging subject line<\/strong> that continues in the email body.\u00a0 Clearly, this is someone who struggled with the &#8220;main idea&#8221;
