What is a Futulele?\u00a0Why it’s a ukulele<\/a> synthesizer<\/strong> that combines an Apple<\/a> (AAPL<\/a>) iPad<\/a><\/strong> with an iPhone<\/a> in a dedicated guitar-shaped<\/strong> case. The iPhone is used for chords and the iPad is used for strumming. The iOS<\/a> devices are connected to each other via Bluetooth<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Amidio says it’s still looking for a hardware partner to build the case, but then there’s an app for that<\/strong> due out in April. Just in time to be one of the first music apps optimized for the iPad 3<\/a>.<\/p>\n
