AI&#8217;s data indicates tablet PC sales in <a title=\"China\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?ll=39.9166666667,116.383333333&amp;spn=10.0,10.0&amp;q=39.9166666667,116.383333333%20%28China%29&amp;t=h\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">China<\/a> are expected to break 4.5 million units. Companies including <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lenovo.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lenovo<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tradingview.com\/symbols\/OTC-LNVGY\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">LNVGY<\/a>), <a title=\"Acer\" href=\"http:\/\/us.acer.com\/ac\/en\/US\/content\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Acer<\/a> (<a title=\"OTC US : ACEIY\" href=\"http:\/\/investing.businessweek.com\/research\/stocks\/snapshot\/snapshot.asp?ticker=ACEIY:US\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ACEIY<\/a>) and home appliance giant <a title=\"Haier Group\" href=\"https:\/\/www.haieramerica.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Haier Group<\/a>, are releasing their own tablet PCs.<\/p>\n<p>Sun from Analysys states in the blog the biggest obstacle Chinese brands face is how to come up with a different marketing angle against Apple, to avoid head-on competition with the <a title=\"iPad\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/IPad\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">iPad<\/a>. &#8220;There are two separate markets for tablets: You can either go entertainment or business. The iPad is a big competitor in terms of entertainment, so Chinese companies should be different from iPad,&#8221; Sun suggested. Some Chinese companies have already differentiated their tablets. Beijing ErenEben Information Technology Co, a business tablet PC maker, won a government contract to provide tablets to the police department in the <a title=\"Guangxi\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?ll=23.6,108.3&amp;spn=1.0,1.0&amp;q=23.6,108.3%20%28Guangxi%29&amp;t=h\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"geolocation noopener noreferrer\">Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>According to Fang Liyong, COO of ErenEben, the company sold nearly 150,000 units of its first two generations of products in 2010, making it the biggest homegrown tablet PC brand by sales volume. &#8220;<em>We are now selling nearly 30,000 units every month in 2011,<\/em>&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>With a touchscreen developed by Japanese graphics-tablets maker Wacom Co Ltd, the ErenEben tablets were designed to offer an experience similar to writing on real paper. Once downloaded and installed (<a title=\"ITunes\" href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20120529000817\/http:\/\/itunes.apple.com:80\/us\/app\/clueful\/id512467899\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"homepage noopener noreferrer\">iTunes<\/a>), the $3.99 app scans your <a title=\"iPad 3\" href=\"https:\/\/www.apple.com\/ipad\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">iPad 3<\/a>, <a title=\"iPhone\" href=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\/iphone\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"homepage noopener noreferrer\">iPhone 4s<\/a> or other <a title=\"IOS\" href=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\/ios\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"homepage noopener noreferrer\">iOS Apple<\/a> products to see what&#8217;s installed and puts it in a list that can be filtered based on the various kinds of behavior. This includes things like:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Apps that can track location<\/li>\n<li>Apps that can read the address book<\/li>\n<li>Apps that might drain battery<\/li>\n<li>Apps that use iPhone&#8217;s unique ID<\/li>\n<li>Apps that display ads<\/li>\n<li>Apps that gather analytics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These behaviors are listed in the results and explained on each app&#8217;s detail page. However, Clueful doesn&#8217;t log how often these behaviors happen.
