\"Michigan<\/a>TechCrunch<\/em><\/a> graded<\/a> each member of the House of Representatives<\/strong> on tech issues. TechCrunch studied how closely their voting records align with what they call consensus interests of the technology industry. TechCrunch<\/em> explains that after finding patterns in technology lobbying<\/strong> through public records, they determined where there was industry consensus on particular bills by surveying the most prominent technology lobbies, which collectively represent most of the industry. There was consensus on 3 issues: immigration, crowdfunding, and an open Internet (SOPA)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"Michigan\"<\/a><\/em>None of Michigan’s Rep’s earned an A from the site. TechCrunch<\/em> ranked some well-known Michigan politicians way down.<\/p>\n

John Conyers<\/strong><\/a>, MI-14<\/a> (D) who has in Washington for 47 years now, earned a D<\/strong> for his sponsorship of SOPA<\/a>, (Which I noted earlier)<\/a>.<\/em> You tweet Conyers here<\/a> and tell him to do better by tech.<\/p>\n

John Dingell<\/strong><\/a> MI-15<\/a> (D) who has been a politician in DC for 58 years earned a grade of C.<\/strong>\u00a0You can tweet Dingell here<\/a>. OMG yes, he has a Twitter account, probably run by some staffer.<\/p>\n

Hansen Clarke<\/strong><\/a> MI-13 and Gary Peters<\/strong><\/a> MI-9<\/a> received grades of B.<\/p>\n
