Here is more proof of the downturn at Dell<\/a>.\u00a0 BusinessInsider<\/em><\/a> is reporting<\/a> that Acer<\/a> (ACEIY<\/a>), the Taiwanese computer maker has posted another solid quarter of global PC sales, according to new data <\/a>from Gartner<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"Acer<\/a>The Asian and emerging markets drove Acer’s growth. It has also successfully ridden the explosion in netbook demand. The netbook market is dry<\/a>ing up now<\/a>, though thanks to Apple’s iPad<\/a>. This could give Dell an opening if it can execute well (a big if lately) and Taiwan-based\u00a0Acer has problems cracking the mainland China<\/a> market.<\/p>\n
