They also say that enterprise adoption is more widespread than expected. Two-thirds of the CIOs surveyed expect either to buy tablets for some of their employees or allow employee-owned tablets on their networks within one year. The investment house also says that tablets will be viewed as content creation devices. They found 20% of tablet owners use the device to create or edit files regularly. and believe the rate of introduction of new mobile applications and faster processors could increase these figures over time.<\/p>\n<h3><a title=\"People Have No Clue How To Use iPad Apps\" href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/nielsen-ipad-apps-are-too-difficult-to-use-2011-5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">People Have No Clue How To Use iPad Apps<\/a><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/standupchic.wordpress.com\/author\/standupchic\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-10271 alignright\" style=\"border: 0pt none; margin-left: 3px; margin-right: 3px;\" title=\"confused-look\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/rbach.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/confused-look-e1561079299738-108x150.jpg?resize=77%2C107&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Confused\" width=\"77\" height=\"107\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/rbach.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/confused-look-e1561079299738.jpg?resize=108%2C150&amp;ssl=1 108w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/rbach.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/confused-look-e1561079299738.jpg?resize=54%2C75&amp;ssl=1 54w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/rbach.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/confused-look-e1561079299738.jpg?w=370&amp;ssl=1 370w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 77px) 100vw, 77px\" \/><\/a>iPad readers are skimming and can&#8217;t remember what they&#8217;ve read according to <a title=\"Nielsen Norman Group\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nngroup.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"homepage noopener noreferrer\">Nielsen Norman Group<\/a>, <a title=\"www.businessinsider.com\" href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>BussinessInsider<\/em><\/a> <a title=\"www.businessinsider.com\" href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/nielsen-ipad-apps-are-too-difficult-to-use-2011-5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">points out<\/a> the report which finds that many big-name iPad apps are too difficult to use, and should abide by one standard for gestures, tapping, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Nielsen gave 16 study participants access to the <a title=\"NPR\" href=\"http:\/\/www.npr.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">NPR<\/a> app, the <a title=\"Flipboard\" href=\"http:\/\/flipboard.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Flipboard<\/a> app, <a title=\"The Daily\" href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20120121051905\/http:\/\/www.macworld.com\/appguide\/app.html?id=807893&amp;expand=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Daily<\/a> app, and the <a title=\"Amaon\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Amazon<\/a> app, among others for two months, to see how they reacted and what they attempted to swipe, pinch, and tap.<\/p>\n<p>According to Nielsen, most consumers are confused because every app has a different navigation scheme, and looks different than their website counterparts. People had a lot of trouble in specific situations, because from one app to another, performing simple tasks like search, scrolling, or shopping, can be completely different.<\/p>\n<p>In the midst of all their hard findings, Nielsen makes suggestions for app-makers to make their apps more intuitive and ergonomic for users. You can chat over <a title=\"Wi-Fi\" href=\"http:\/\/www.wi-fi.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Wi-Fi<\/a>, <a title=\"3G\" href=\"http:\/\/electronics.howstuffworks.com\/cell-phone9.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">3G<\/a> or <a title=\"4G\" href=\"https:\/\/secure.wikimedia.org\/wikipedia\/en\/wiki\/4G\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">4G<\/a>. <em>AppScout<\/em> predicts this feature makes Fring a force to be reckoned with. Instead of waiting on its competitors to bring video chat to the iPad, Fring stepped up to deliver group video chat to the iPad. <em>AppScout<\/em> states that for now is the ONLY iPad-specific video chat app.<\/p>\n<p>All the same, features that are available for iPhone, <a title=\"IPod Touch\" href=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\/ipodtouch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"homepage noopener noreferrer\">iPod Touch<\/a>, <a title=\"Google\" href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Google\u2019s<\/a> (<a title=\"NASDAQ : GOOG\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tradingview.com\/symbols\/NASDAQ-GOOG\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">GOOG<\/a>) <a title=\"Android\" href=\"http:\/\/www.android.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Android<\/a>, and <a title=\"Nokia\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nokia.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"homepage noopener noreferrer\">Nokia<\/a> (<a title=\"NYSE : NOK\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nyse.com\/quote\/XNYS:NOK\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">NOK<\/a>) devices are available on the iPad as well. The DS-IP-49-SYNC changes the way information is managed and distributed. The device acts as a fully powered <a title=\"www.thinkgeek.com\" href=\"http:\/\/www.thinkgeek.com\/computing\/accessories\/9223\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">USB hub<\/a> for 49 devices. A single station in a tech center or IT department can quickly sync 49 devices which permit more practical centralized management control in technology deployments and maintenance. The company also makes the mobile phone for <a title=\"Nokia\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nokia.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"homepage noopener noreferrer\">Nokia<\/a> (<a title=\"NYSE : NOK\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nyse.com\/quote\/XNYS:NOK\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">NOK<\/a>) and <a title=\"Motorola\" href=\"http:\/\/www.motorola.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Motorola<\/a><del><\/del> (<a title=\"NASDAQ : GOOG\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tradingview.com\/symbols\/NASDAQ-GOOG\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">GOOG<\/a>); it makes PlayStations, laptops, and LCD TVs for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sony.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sony<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nyse.com\/quote\/XNYS:SNE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SNE<\/a>); and it makes <a title=\"IPod\" href=\"https:\/\/secure.wikimedia.org\/wikipedia\/en\/wiki\/IPod\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener wikipedia noreferrer\">iPods<\/a>, iPhones, and iPads for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Apple<\/a> (<a title=\"NASDAQ : AAPL\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tradingview.com\/symbols\/NASDAQ-AAPL\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">AAPL<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>The article goes on to say that the Foxconn <a title=\"Shenzhen Longhua campus\" href=\"http:\/\/wikimapia.org\/1661746\/Foxconn-Longhua\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Shenzhen Longhua campus<\/a> has become the manufacturing base for the latest technology products, including smartphones and tablet computers; and the volume and speed of shipments from this plant influence the prices in the global IT market.<\/p>\n<p>Foxconn boasted new technology breakthroughs during the past year. In 2010, Foxconn applied for 16,000 global patents and 7,000 were approved; and it applied for 6,000 patents on Chinese mainland and nearly 3,000 got approved.
