\"Should<\/a>Recently came across a post<\/a> from Ois\u00edn Grogan<\/a>, the “$200 Million Business Coach<\/a>” about why people hate meetings<\/strong>. He says people hate meetings because:<\/p>\n

  1. They don\u2019t start on time.<\/li>\n
  2. They don\u2019t finish on time.<\/li>\n
  3. What\u2019s in the middle is a waste of time!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    He stresses the project manager<\/a> running the meeting needs to keep people on point<\/strong>. Project team members should only talk about matters related to their roles. The sales manager should not talk about how production should be delivering. The team should talk about how to get tasks completed.<\/p>\n

    Coordination between different departments and roles is a vital function of meetings and Mr. Grogan says you\u2019ll get more of your meetings if you keep people on point. To help address the issue, he developed a flow chart on how to decide when to and how to say something in a meeting<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
