Rumors have it that Dell\/EMC<\/a>\/VMware and Microsoft<\/strong><\/a> (MSFT<\/a>) are crossing their streams with a VMware<\/strong><\/a> Cloud NSX<\/strong><\/a> on Microsoft Azure<\/strong><\/a> partnership could be coming soon.<\/p>\n

\"VMware<\/a>VMware’s<\/a> (VMW<\/a>) multi-cloud<\/strong> approach combines the core VMware technology stack with services delivered through partnerships with other service providers including Amazon<\/a> (AMZN<\/a>) Amazon Web Services<\/strong><\/a> (AWS) Google Cloud and IBM Cloud. As well as an emerging development environment centered on the open source Kubernetes<\/a><\/strong> container orchestrator. Chennele2e<\/a><\/em> hypothesizes<\/a>,<\/p>\n

The two companies are jointly developing software that will let their customers more easily run computing jobs, which rely on VMware software, inside Microsoft\u2019s Azure cloud computing service \u2026 could be announced \u2026 in the coming weeks \u2026 move computing chores from their own private data centers, where VMware\u2019s software is a critical ingredient, to Microsoft\u2019s \u201cpublic\u201d cloud service.<\/p>\n
